If you read my daily diary, you know I was in Paris on Tuesday for a dentist appointment and took the puppy with to a sitter. It was a rather successful day of not dying and no puppy problems, but it seems I caught some sort of flu-thing (I am fully vaccinated and have a sense of smell, though I am isolating, and by isolating, I mean doing the exact same thing I always do which is stay home and take care of animals) from either the dentist office where I had to have my mouth open in a room where some other dude just had his mouth open, or on the trains to and from where no one will open a window because French people are afraid of moving air.
Living alone with a puppy, 2 cats in the house, and other cats outside to care for while sick isn’t the best situation ever. Especially when I am somewhere I can’t get groceries delivered and no car.
All this to say, sorry for the lack of updates. I’m hoping I’m in the worst of it and I’ll be getting better soon, ’cause wooo boy howdy am I sick.
